Finally got around to installing my JLT and Amazon Custom Tune. I've been reading for months now about how much of a difference it makes and i was not dissapointed. I called Rick and had him walk me through the datalogging and all of the other little questions i had. Definatly A+ customer service.

The car runs like a raped ape to say the least. The "turbo lag" type throttle response is gone and it rips through every gear. Now it's time to start installing the rest of my stockpile that i've had in my basement for months.

Rick sent me an email tune for my 04 Cobra and when I dynoed it was spot on! So glad I am back in SC so I can see him in person now.

I have a JLT and tuner sitting in the garage..guess I should throw it on the car for a little grin. -Shane

This isn't tech. It's Mustang Chat.

Glad you got the tune and intake installed. The difference is really impressive!

I don't see a box with the GT500 upper strut mounts. Did you get something besides those? You won't be able to install those Koni's without aftermarket upper strut mounts or the GT500 ones.

Look at the box that is labeled ford racing sitting behind the springs. Luckily i was able to pick them up from a member on here. So i'm all set now.

if you saw how tall Rick is you'd understand why it is called Amazon Tuning Solutions

Shane..you sure the locals will allow you to come up here?

Rick has been tuning since before Amazon.com was born

you will never convince me that talking about tuning isnt tech..does the thread have to include hard results for it to be tech and not chat? is other product review considered chat too ?

it's not on this board. even showing results is not tech.

if it were a discussion about how the tune adjusts spark, fuel trims, cam positions etc then it would be.

please review our board rules for details

Hey Linn:highfive: After a long Five years I'm back! Not worried about others opinions. I have my experience with Rick which speaks volumes.

This thread made me get off my butt and install my JLT CAI and SCT tuner. It did feel MUCH better:highfive:

Rick has put alot of work into his tunes with our car....it just rips....I cant even use more than 1/3 throttle on the street or the tires break lose and it wants to come around

plan on bolting on the MT DRs and heading to the track next weekend.

where did you say you got the black 5.0 emblems for your car?

Ahhh, OK. I did see it, but for some reason, the box didn't look big enough to be the strut mounts. I thought it was a fuel pump. LOL!

Please post some pics in the Pimpin It area when you get it all installed! Should look really good!
