Hell, I got that beat.

1) I bought a shorty antenna for the Mustang
2) Removed stock antenna from Mustang
3) Installed shorty antenna on Mustang
4) Took silver antenna off Donna's black F250
5) Put black Mustang antenna on F250
6) Broke shorty antenna off Mustang at car wash
7) Took black antenna back off F250
8) Put black antenna back on Mustang
9) Reinstalled silver antenna on F250
10) Back to right where I started.

I would have been lost without Herk's DIY.

i have a unique antenna delete. The original one was making my car looks like a RC car, so at one mustang show i bought with a friend a shorty antenna (very expensive). One day i found that my antenna was curved, took it to bend it and it immediatly broke at the base. Not a big deal as i don't listen to the radio. Saw the mustang of my friend after and i saw that he did the same mod as me, antenna delete, happen the same things to him.

Maybe the best mod in this case is simply finding a round-heded bolt of the correct thread length (short) to plug the hole...

I went to the dealership and looked at a used 08... looks like you have remove the battery positive and pop the trunk before you can do the procedure...
