Any warnings with buying USED CAI and sct x3?

I ran across a steeda CAI with about 1500 miles on it the guy says, and he also has a sct x3 tuner that is cleared out. everything looks good from the pics, any warnings if I buy this?, it will save me some money I could use on other stuff if i buy this.

I guess I would email doug @ bamachips (i hear thats the best for emailed tunes on N/A)

any advise on this would be great...

dont pay much attetion to me on this but i know 2 local guys that had problems with the elbow cracking on the t/b side.

I cant comment on the CAI, well not publicly anyway.

But make sure the X3 is unlocked.

Make sure all the parts are there for CAI. i bought mine used and some hoses and stuff were missing. Its a real hassle if stuff is missing. Had to improvise to make it work. xcal is straight forward. Make sure its unlocked.
