Not on the mustang, but had one on my old 2013 focus. It was a Draw-tite I got from etrailer.com. Never had any problems with it

My old 07 GT that I bought from a friend had a hitch he’d installed, I want to say it was a DrawTite. No issues, it was used for hauling a small tire trailer for track days.

I see some listed just wanted some actual install tips. I put one on the 2003 we had.

I pretty much just followed the instructions, it was pretty straightforward on the Focus. I remember they gave you a wire to help feed the bolts through the chassis, which came in handy

I’m looking at the same ones please post up results and pictures.

We’re going to be installing one on out GT for a nice track day trailer for our wheels and gear.

I dont remember having to do the exhaust on the Focus but yeah otherwise it was basically the same as that.

Sorry didn't think about this earlier, but when they said Class I in the video it came back to me -- definitely pay attention to the tongue weight on the Class I hitch. Like with a bike rack hanging off the back you can get that lever arm and it can sneak up to that 200 lbs pretty quick.

In doing searches I've read some post about using long bolts but never describe how or why. I did see where people use the spring wires to snake the bolts into the boxed section at the back. Some say you need to remove the muffler.
