I have heard many different things about the subject. Some say that leaving off idle yields better times other say to foot brake it. Those that usually say to leave off idle talk about hesitation when they foot brake it. I have also heard people talk about rolling into the throttle and not just hammering it ( not because of tire spin but once again a lag). So what is the deal is it better to stall it up ( I have a 3000 stall) and nail it or leave off idle and roll into it? If it is better to leave off idle or to roll into the throttle why is that? Leaving off idle and rolling into the throttle seems counter productive.
Your short times would be GREATLY reduced IMO with a looser converter Don.
