Automatic swap???

Just checking in to see if there is someone on here in my area (Maine) that has an automatic that wants to swap to a stick car?
My friend is doing this swap for someone else and I want to be next. I just need to find an automatic car local that wants to swap with me. The labor would be $2000.00 and we could split it..

Tell ya what, I just lived through a 3650 to 5R55 swap. Was kind of a pain in the ass. Gonna be worth it in the long run once I get a few tuning details worked out, but still... kind of a pain in the ass.

Too bad you couldn't find a very simular car and just trade cars. Much harder to find, but a whole lot easier machanically.

well it was worth a shot lol id like to do the swap too but every1 i talk to about it tells me im nuts and no1 wants to actually do the swap for me so im kinda stuck at either the 6060 swap or a 4r70 which i kinda dont want to do id like to keep it the stock 5r55s and the ones who do want to swap are all in bfe no1 near here lol

i know dead post lol but was just discussing the swap deal with some1 and searched on here for the parts list .... i recall me and some1 talking about it and saw your post don lol only problem is i need alot more than just your tranny i wish it was that easy lol .....because if it was youd have a brand new 1 lol

I know you said no one in south La wants to do it for you. If you can live without your car for however long it takes them I know somewhere north of Dallas that will do it.

i wonder how long the downtime would be ? ....... its a dd kinda, im offshore for a week at a time ( alteast ) and do have another vehicle to use so ..... pm sent ......
