I am having cold start problems with my whipple. A reputable tuner told me it is my MAF sensor BA5000 and cold start transient fuel table settings. What MAF sensor do I need at 600 rwhp?

I'm confused. Is he saying the BA5000 is the issue, or that the transient fuel tables just need adjusted? I'm thinking he means the second item.I am having cold start problems with my whipple. starting inplugged with cause the ECU to use the failed MAF tables. If the car is tuned right, these should have been adjusted during the course of building the tune so the car should start and idle with them. How safe is starting these beasts with the maf unplugged?
He said the resolution of the BA5000 for a draw through intake is low. He also stated that could influence the cold start fuel tables.
