Bad 60'

Car is a 2011 auto with or x bbr lca's vmp tune and 26" dr. Last night it ran 12.13@116 with a 1.96 60". Da was 1300. Also ran a 12.17@116 with a 60" of 1.97 with some spinning on the 1-2 shift. Didn't spin on the 12.13 pass. Before with negative da and pro cal tune it has ran 12.02@117 with a 1.79 60". What is going on with my 60 it has been horrible lately?

Hard to say. Can you post both time slips? With a tune change, timing could have changed down low and that can take away some Torque!

Start'em in 1st, shift to 2nd and get the RPMs up to 5-6K for several seconds.

With an auto you need second gear to get enough heat in the tires. For me 40 mph is the number with my MT ET streets. DA will effect your 60fts (1300 ft sucks compared to negative DA). Not sure about the 5.0 motor but my 4.6 will be 3 tenths faster when cool.
I think it was the DA that killed your times.

I'll have to post the slips later.the weather kills my time by .3-.4. I usually do start in first and shift to 2nd. I probably only burn them for 4/5 seconds.

The tune is part of it, I lost a fair amount of hp/torque down low on they dyno comparing a procal vs email tune. Are you changing you changing the tire height in the tune?

I actually forgot to this time but the last time out it ran the same 60 with it changed.
