I've been having some issues with my car Battery draining overnight.

My car is a 2005 Mustang GT.

I recently replaced my battery thinking it was a bad battery but it didn't help.

My replacement battery is an Optima yellow top.

I started a thread where I suspected my Shaker 500 but now I don't think it has anything to do with it: http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79402

The reason I don't think it's my Shaker 500 is because I've pulled fuse 56 and 16 and it's still draining.

For example, last night I parked the car for the night at around 9:30pm. I waited for half and hour for the car and battery to cool off and the battery voltage measured 12.2v which sounds normal.

In the morning at around 10:00am I measured the voltage again and it had dropped to 11.7v. I measured the current draw (with engine off) and it measured 130 mA.

So is it likely that my battery went from 12.2v to 11.7v in roughly 12 hours at a constant 130 mA current draw?

And is 130 mA current draw normal ?

Thanks for helping folks. This problem is driving me insane.

130ma is high. 50ma is about normal on these cars after all the modules have gone to "sleep". It takes about an hour for all the modules on later Fords to power down and they will read around 120-130mA until then. So what you need to do is hook up your ammeter between the negative battery terminal and the terminal end. Then open the driver door and pop the latch closed (leaving door open). Remove keys from ignition and let the car sit for a minimum of 1 hour. Then come back and check the reading. If it is still high (over 50ish mA), begin pulling and replacing each fuse one by one until you find the one that drops it down to normal range.

Then go from there based on which circuit the draw is coming from.
