Im surprised you guys picked up so much with the new intake. I put one on a customer car and picked up 5 peak rwhp and lost 15 rwtq.
Here are the particulars

07 GT auto
410's
JBA long tubes
high flow cats
Stinger mufflers
JLT cold air
Gt500t/b w/BBR adapter
Hot Rod cams

In this state it made 307rwhp and 305 rwtq.

I installed the intake on the dyno, loaded a tune for runner deletes and ended up with 312 rwhp and 290 rwtq. I tried different spark advance, and different degrees of cam timing, but that was the most it would make. All of the datalogs looked good and the air/fuel was spot on for the before and after runs.

Im not trying to hijack a thread, just curious how yours picked up so much.

Thanks

That is pretty interesting. I'm also curious as to why a car with these mods before the intake (C&L Racer CAI, BBR GT500 Throttle Body Kit, Underdrive Pulleys, Off Road X-pipe and JBA Axle Back) only made 267 rwhp... :wtf1:

That is right on par for being an auto..mine only put down 244 bone stock..the TC/410 gears kills the numbers.

None of that matters if said product doesn't have a CARB sticker.

do they currently look for carb stickers on the stock intake? why would they look for one on this intake.....its pretty factory looking other than the "ford racing" logo.....guess it depends on how hip the inspector is?

Its def all up to the inspector. I had them fail me, tell me there was no carb stamps on my cats (kooks/pypes) and i called around to find cats i could weld in and guess what none of them have make cats that have carb stamps lol. Took it somewhere else, no problem.

That doesn't surprise me at all. What WOULD surprise the hell out of me was if someone actually made high flow cats that COULD pass and get a CARB stamp.

I'm not surprised that someone else would let it pass either... Par for course.

Strapped my car to a dyno on Saturday and put now 315rwhp with full exhaust, HR cams, and JLT intake (Brenspeed tune). I'm looking into this intake cause I need to get CMDP done but figure this would be the best route.
