Hey John does the intake come with the plastic pieces that cover up the fuel rails or will we have to buy them seperately? If seperately how much are they.

same question here.. i forgot the stock cover wont fit anymore after the intake is on..

We've test fit it. It goes on. But the hood won't close. However, I do believe with a longer coupler, they'll be enough bend to it, to allow it to close.

If you figure out a way to make the Steeda CAI work properly, I'll order one straight away. If anybody wants to trade a JLT CF CAI straight up for the Steeda, I'll pick up both of the shipping charges.

The reason the JLT fits and the others didn't is b/c of the bends in the inlet tubing. HOWEVER... We are working on a fix for that. An adapter piece that'll allow for the proper angle on the Throttle Body so that ALL CAI's will work. There won't be a need to buy a new CAI. I was just stating that the JLT fit with no other modifications needed.

personally.. i would do the stall first.... and then get the boss intake after the number are out.

The intake is going to be a positive addition, I'm sure, but there is no way it will pick up 5 tenths like a converter will.

Why the hell would you even make a post about tuning a manifold that you can't talk about the numbers. The turbonators really were impressive as well. Trust us they really work well. I understand your agreement with the mag, but come on, why even bother.

That cracks me up with all these shops doing testing and cant release the numbers cause of some deal they have with the magazines. By the time the magazines come out, everything is old news. This has been going on for years now and never changes. Its always that little shop that gets the credit cause they dont have that restriction from the magazine company and they are the first to release the info. I know myself and plenty of others stop buying into those magazines cause of shit like this. Plus there are plenty of times that numbers were not accurate in the articles.

it says BOSS its part of the casting.. nothing a grinder and some matte black paint wont fix though lol

No it is casted with "boss 302" on it. The blank one that was posted was Ricks's prototype that had the twin blade throttle body on it if I'm not mistaken.

Ford hasn't priced those items yet so they aren't orderable. Besides the side covers there are plugs to fill the holes at the front and back between the manifold and block. Here are the part numbers though.

CR3Z-6N041-B right side cover
CR3Z-9K540-A front plug
CR3Z-9K540-B rear plug

I think I may have the cai thing figured out till a new kit can be made. Im going to cut the end off after the bend and rotate that end 180 degrees, so it points up insted of down and put a hose and some clamps over it,to couple it back togeather wont be real pretty but it should work
