Best choice for 05-09 Tie Rod End

I've gone through several stock ones over the years. I don't race/etc. Just daily street driving. Was looking at the American Muscle. Really any better than stock though?

My initial response was going to be Motorcraft, but I see that you've been through several OEM parts. Is/was your car slammed? I'm surprised that OEM parts haven't lasted for you.

I've had OEM, then Whiteline which made so much noise had to lubricate them every month and now I'm using Autozone lifetime replacements which 1 month into it ripped the boot and grease leaked all over.

I'm also looking for a "better" replacement and might give Moog a try.

Roush stage 1 springs. Only 1 1/2" drop with them. Guess I'll try the Motorcraft one more time.

Agreed. I have been running steeda bump steer kit for last 30k and no issues. Stock tie rod ends went out around 20k.

I went with the OPR in your first post after my factory passenger side took a dump. Only about 5k miles on them but no issues. I liked the fact that you don't have to lubricate them and the boot seemed to be a better piece than stock.

Moog is always my first choice. Back in 1988 I bought my first new vehicle, an F150. By 30K miles it had the dreaded 'death wobble'. Replaced the garbage OEM tie rod ends (pressed together with a piece of rubber between the ball and cap) with Moog. The Moog ones were still good when I traded the truck in with 210K miles.

We use these (ball joints and tie rod ends) on the race car because of they get extended each time it's raced because of pulling the wheels off the ground and coming back down.
