I think that a 6262 might be a bit small to make that much power at 16psi. Why not try a Precision 6765 billet turbo? I got one going into my car and they are bad ass. You should have no problem making that power with this turbo.

Links to said turbos? I HATE when turbo manufacturers like precision don't publish compressor maps for their turbos. Knowing max flow numbers is only part of the equation. Usually when companies are proud of their maps they publish that info.

Not necessarily true. It costs a lot of money to generate that type of data.

I understand your gripe with Precision Turbo not having compressor maps, but I have yet to hear from someone that hasn't had good results from their billet turbos.

JPC hit 662rwhp,18 psi on a Whipple 2.3, Whipple 10 rib set up and their custom inlet and tube :beerdrink:

Yeah I understand it costs some money but it's still lame. Knowing max flow numbers in lbs/min is only part of the equation. Knowing where peak compressor efficiency is at X lbs/min and where surge line is are important to me. Call me nuts I crazy I guess.
I guess an analogy would be to compare two competitors engines that both peak at lets say 400hp. Without seeing the dyno graph and analyze the area under the curve of each motor and seeing where peak HP and peak torque are you're not getting the full picture. As big of a company as precision is you would think they could afford the couple of tests to find the average numbers for one particular model turbo.

More R&D and testing means increased cost to the consumer, no thanks.
All it takes is a little research to figure out those limits on any given size billet wheel vice cast wheel precision turbo. Sure if I was a bench racing turbos a compressor map would be cool, but its no substitue for the real world night and day difference in efficiencey.

compturbo has a shelf line that they can offer you or you can do a custom built turbo to what ever specs you would like. If you want a turbo built a certain way they can do that. If you have a power goal in mind you can give them your engine details and they will give you suggestions as to what will work best for your scenario and if it doesn't they will make adjustments to the turbo so that it does perform the way it should. They rebuilt my turbo twice before it was where it needed to be. All you have to do it call and ask and they will give you prices.

800 ish vs 3k = no thank you.

That turbo better be giving me mouth action, cooking my breakfast, and cleaning the engine bay every 2 hours for that price.
