I had horrible drone with the Borla stingers, switched to King of the Roads, they sounded good until I swapped heads/cams, went to GT 500 mufflers and finally found happiness in the Borla touring.

Seems the automatics have worse droan than the stocks and as long as you are not using Stingers or that type of muffler you should be ok but you may have to wait until everything is on and see how it sounds before finding a muffler that you like and does not droan unless you can find someone who has the exact same setup as you do and they have clips or experienced them.

As far as the fuel smell and a 7 year old...how often will the 7 year old be riding with you? There is a fuel smell esp when you are sitting at a stop light or sign depending on which way the wind is blowing but as soon as you start moving it is gone.

So do you think just headers,O/R H pipe and stock mufflers?

I had drone with my stock mufflers, although not bad. My Borla touring have absolutely nada for drone. Love em.

Do they make the borla touring for 2010s?

Yes they do. That is what I also plan on using on mine when I start doing a Paxton 2200 install shortly. The rest of the exhaust I have no idea where I want to go with it.

Yes they do and I may have mine for sale if the car does not sell as a whole and I part it out.

I am just very concerned about drone and exhaust smell. Help please!!

Don't worry too much about exhaust smell if you decide to go w/o cats. You've been in my car before. Not really that noticeable except under limited conditions.

Drone...if you weld in Pypes M-80's (or something comparable) that drone will disappear too.

Your welcome. :thumb2:

I think you will have an exciting summer coming up with the changes you are making.

Superchargers and Mustangs just seem to be a natural fit.

Yes definatly looking forward to this summer. Still working on a date to get the car down to them. Since they will have the car 3-4 days I am still debating on the best way to do it. They have the guest house which for alot of guys is great but I cant sit down there for that many days. I am leaning towards just hauling it down than coming back to get it. Just need to come up with a enclosed trailer.

I agree that is a long time to sit in the Guest House or anywhere else for that many days.

If you could I think drop it off and then later go back and pick it up.
If you could get an enclosed trailer to drop it off.

Maybe one of your Buddies would drive you back when Mustang is completed and you could then drive it back home.

Talked to Brent going to go ahead and run the metallic cats. Pypes LTs, Pypes O/R H-pipe , Pypes High Flow met.cats and stock mufflers until I can affored a change .
Hey anyone want to give me a educated guess on ET? Lots of factors but just wonder what this set up is capable of...11.5? (M&H 275x45x18 DRs)

How good are you at driving and when was the last time you were at the track?

With the PD blower you are going to have all the power at once and down low as long as the car hooks you should be low 11's.

It might do that with practice.

It takes a lot of HP/TRQ to run an 11.5 ET.

But with Drag Radials that will certainly make a difference.

Don't get your hopes up to high so your not greatly disappointed if it does not run an 11.5 ET.
