Here is your basic process:

Wash
Clay
Polish
Seal (Black Light)
Wax (CG Black)
CG V07

Exactly the products in my arsenal for my black GT. For the polish I use Menzerna 4500. Amazing polish that literally produces a mirror finish.

Yo Seer...what about CG's Pete's wax as a cheaper alternative to black?

It won't fill, it's also a pure wax, so it won't last long on darker cars in the summer.

That being said, Pete's looks nice.

One quick (hopefully not dumb) question concerning Kona Blue. Should I treat the finish as if it is a black car, using the advice above?

So I'm late to the thread but will chime in. After using Meguires Swirl Remover 2.0, on light swirl marks, I did have good to great results. While I did not clay the car, it was not that "damaged" texture wise. I used a 3M foam pad on the Makita, the swirl remover, and then finished it off with a hand Mequires "banana" wax. I have the car about where I want it now, and it was a fairly easy process. My finish was not that far gone though, so for others the clay and multi-step process may be necessary.
