I'm sick and tired of this damn oil blow by. I keep having to clean my maf and drain the oil out of my intercooler and piping when it gets bad.

Paxton suggested installing another drain line off the 2200 since your able to have 3 lines.

Would that be better or just make the line I have no wider?

And would anyone hapoen to know what thread pitch the fittings are for the drain on the paxton? So I can order it if I go another line route

Is one of your ventillation hoses connected to the air intake ahead of the blower? If so, it needs a filter, otherwise it will suck oil in through that hose.

It's def blow by from the front seal of the paxton.

I was first running just breathers on both valve covers when I installed the paxton and was getting blow by. So I installed both lines back and put catchcans on both just to see if that would help and no bueno. Didn't help with back pressure at all

I would also suggest that. The Paxton is just like a turbo, in that oil drain is gravity not pressurized. That is one of the things we fight with turbos, they don't drain fast enough and the oil backs up into the exhaust. In your case it would back up into the intake.

So what do you do to help the oil drain faster...?

Boost = higher crankcase pressures

I'm using a couple of these for my re-build:

Run as large of a drain line as you can that has a straight, no level spots of bends, continuous drop to the oil pan. For pressure relief you need lots of breather capacity. Do a search for turbo PCV setups and you will find some examples of different ideas. Myself, I run a combination setup of breathers and intake vacuum both.

x2 on the oil drain being as straight as possible. Its amazing what a difference just straightnening out the drain will do for you. What size drain hose are you using? I have seen some of the supercharged cars around here running between -8 AN and -10AN hoses.

I would be curious to know if a Paxton could benefit from an oil restrictor in the feed line like some of the Turbo Cars. I recently finally seem to have solved a very similar issue to what you are describing by: upgrading from -6AN drain hose to -8 AN, straightened out the route from the drain to the oil pan, installed S&H's breather kit and installed a breather on the Oil filler tube. Hopefully this helps.

I have a 4.6 with a Vortech SQ V2 and im running passenger side valve cover to air intake before the charger, driver side valve cover to air/oil separator, to one way valve, to intake.

I see about 10-11lbs of boost and have not had any noticeable amount of oil in the intake, and a small amount in the air/oil separator.

I am running the stock PCV system with big catch cans on both sides.

It's running the stock Paxton drain line which is -8AN.

It's either run a -10AN or just add another -8AN drain line next to it

I also literally just rebuilt the Paxton. Bearings and seals because I thought this was due to a faulty front seal
