Went to the track friday, super nice night, temp in the 60's DA in the low 600's, and they have been spraying the track really well this year, grip is not the problem anymore. No way was I going to pass that up.
Three of my passes, I got GREAT launches in, then about 4500-5000 rpm, it would shut the fuck down, like it was slamming the throttle plate. I'm no pro dragger, so my first thought was, "I lifted because I'm not used to that kind of motion out of my car."
Nope. Happened the next run. So I tried going from just traction control off to stability control off for a third consecutive run, still happened. After that, I parked it and spectated the rest of the night. Not stoked, best 60 I could get was 2.0.
Relevant info: 13 gt, jlt intake, cat deletes/x, bama tune, 305/35R20 nittos at 20 psi. 4-5 second scrub from the box to make sure the tire were ready. 2 step is ecu set at 3000.
Is there something tune related that could be the problem? No indicator lights, no stored codes, no hints from the ECU as to why it wants to limit my fun.
