Customer contacted L&M but passed. Another company wanted 17k and MMR was the only one who contacted back.

Wasn't real interested in doing the intake. Something I would do for myself. But if you can't do it fast enough, you can't make money at it. Not set for it, my hourly rate would have been really low on something like this. Plus with the time frame it just made more sense to have someone else do it while I worked on other things.

Nah, sure it's over 40k. There is a ton in misc upgrades that add up quick. Saleen ground effects plus paint, Saleen rims and leather wrap for interior (labor and material), 14in/13in wilwoods,etc. IDK all of what is in the car yet. A lot of stuff just shows up LOL

On an HE, the air passes thru to pull heat out of the water. The intercooler uses water to pull the hear out of the charge air going into the engine. Similar concept, but not quite the same. The cores are even different

Oil Coolers are heat exchangers, Radiators are heat exchangers, heater cores are heat exchangers, A/C condensors and evaporators are heat exchangers. Anything that is designed to transfer heat from one fluid/gas to another fluid/gas is a heat exchanger.

You're absolutely correct. But when I say intercooler, people know I mean something cooling the air charge entering the engine. When people say heat exchanger, people know you mean cooling the water of the intercooler. Radiator=engine coolant etc.

In curious to know how they hold up

Nooope. Always avoided low mounts. I haven't seen great success with them. The turbo I pulled off here was leaking oil past the seals.

Should correct that. Haven't seen great success with the oiling system working real well. Plus that return blocks crankcase evac.

A bit confusing. But trying to keep the info on the kit separate from the car itself. Not much on the car lately. Just doing the kit. About done though and will drop the mock up parts out and start stuffing in the good stuff.
