broke rear gt500 swaybar link need upgrade

i pulled into a very steep driveway and heard a pop , and low and behold there is a broken swaybar link on drivers side rear and that really suprised me, ford wants 76 bucks for this part! has anyone else broken one or upgraded the gt500 links which i think are the same as the gt just a differ bushing b/c of the swaybar diameter. steeda outlines their upgrade will not work for gt500 swaybar. i hate to give ford anymore money if there is an upgrade option i cant seem to find online for not much more thanks guys!

i have the BMR extreme rear sway bar....i love it! im not running a front sway bar at all and absoulutly love the way it handles!! not cheap though

The BMR & Steeda pieces are nice, but I'm not sure what the diameter of that bar is.

I think you are either going to have to get replacement links or a new bar...

FWIW, I have the old design of the BMR endlinks and I had one bend at a 90 degree angle. They sent me another and it has been fine for going on 3 years. You could have just gotten a faulty one.
