I'd like to see if I'm running rich. I don't have a WB just yet, but from what I've read, I think some things can be seen from monitoring the fuel injectors.

I'll be using the SCT software with my Xcal2.

you need the live link software and a cable to data log.

Just the USB cable right? I thought I also had to have a .csv template file to record the data into and that this file was what live link used to know what I wanted to record.

You make your own configuration file for the parameters you need to evaluate. Once you make the file, save it and reuse the configution file again. SaveAs and make other files with slightly different parameters, etc.

Regular USB cable when you datalog.

one side is USB for the PC - The other side to the Xcal is a different type of connector but IDK what it's called.

It is the standard size device connector. Not the mini-plug like some phones or cameras. Just take the USB cable off someone's printer.

they are both called usb plugs. One side is Type B (Square) and the other side is Type A (Rectangle and flat)

+1 and dont tell them that your taking it. If they catch you, tell them you converted the printer to wireless and GTFO quick

Ha, thanks. I've got the correct cable. Guess I just need to figure out making the configuration file.

Just go in there and click on the pids you want to log. Just do the ones in CAPS. Once you try it, its actually quite simple. I logged 4 runs at the track the other weekend. I too thought I was rich but it turns out I am not at WOT. Its perfect....11.3/11.5 on the WB.
