Can Someone Measure Their Mickey's For Me?

Hey guys, I am looking at my wheel & tire setup for next season. I am finally going to buy some 15's an skinnies.

I am looking at two diff MT DR's and I was wondering if someone who is running these can confirm the tread width? Not total width, just the tread that comes in contact with the ground.

I am pretty sure I am going to get:

(3756R) P255/60R15 - 27 X 10.50R15 with an advertised 9.0 tread width contact patch.

Or

(3754R) P275/60R15 - 28 X 11.50R15 with an advertised 9.5 tread width contact patch.

My M&H 325's have a 9.5" tread width but advertise it as an 11.3. (wtf?) I am pretty sure that 9.5 (actual) is the smallest I am really willing to go.

i'm not answering your question, but if and when i go to a 15" drag radial i too will probably go with the 255/60/15's.....i think they're the perfect diameter for n/a with the 4.56's

I am good with them as lon as the tread is right. I have been spinning the M&H's on gear changes, so I don't want to go any more narrow.

275/60/15 looks good on the car,and works well on a 8" or a 10" wide wheel.255 is kind of small,maybe would be alright on a 8"

Yea, I am going to get some Jeg 15x8's for now. I figure for the price of the Jegs, when I have the cash for the Bogarts I can just toss the cheap wheels in tha back of the shead...

275/50X15 is what i run and i have the jegs 15x8's...very good looking tire, small at 26" but it helps with my low gear(3.73)
