I know this isn't really Mustang Chit Chat, but I wasn't sure where else to post it.
I'm going to call my dealer tomorrow, but I'm just curious about something. I've been thinking about canceling my extended warranty with my local dealer. My regular warranty is up pretty soon and I have plans of doing some motor work which will make the extended warranty pretty much pointless. Now I've read that if the vehicle is not paid off yet the refund from the extended warranty will go to the remaining balance owed on the vehicle. My question is what if the loan is with a local bank and not with ford financial. Ford only arranged the loan for me, Ford didn't loan the money. I'm just wonder if the refund would go to me or the bank. Would help to get some money back for my future plans.
