Hello to all,
I am an old school guy. I built a few drag cars in the early 70's so I am still learning about the new tuning technology. I bought my 08GT brand new. Last year added S&B CAI, SSS axle backs and SCT 92 Octane tune. I just received a pair of FRPP Hot Rod Cams and will be installing them in a few weeks. Chris Rose at AM will be sending me the tune. Test & Tune first time out: 13.86 @ 105 mph (3rd gear at 6200 rpm). 60 foot time sucked, no traction with the PZero Neros. After the cam installation will be changing from 3:55 to 4:10. Hopefully I will be running 6200 rpm in 4th through the traps with the 4:10. You probably have heard this before, but Ford hit a home run with the S197. It is incredible in the curves and quick in the straight aways. A great car for the money.
