CMDP install need help!!!

i went to tackle the install of the cmdps, well i take my manifold off and well the flaps are built into the manifold??? what can i do now? i have an 06 gt... if this is in the wrong section please move...

You need delete plugs. They can be purchased for around $40. You can also make your own and glue them in.

The year of his car doesn't matter. He has an 09-10 manifold pictured. What did you think was in the picture?

The fact that he specifically listed his 06 mustang gt in the first post implied he was working with an 06 manifold.

I've never seen an 06 manifold that looked like that. I have an 06 and my manifold had a section of aluminum, like the Steeda delete plates http://images-ftp.americanmuscle.co...T)&thumbs=16162&selectedImg=16162?$s7product$ with the butterflies in it. What does it look like if you take out those screws around the valves, does a section remove?

Never seen that on an 06, is it a used car?
Looks like you have a newer manifold than your car, you need delete plugs.

Yea its used... I had talked to the previous owner and he only had done axlebacks, tinted tails, and a painted stripe on the car

The part number on the manifold would tell the story.
(What are those 2 torx screws shown in the pic?)

Was he the original owner, someone put a late model intake on the car? As stated you need the delete plugs with that manifold.

That is not the original intake for the car then. You have the 09+ one that requires plugs like mentioned.
