ill get some pics when i get off work, but no, with the 7.5bs they do not stick out at all, thats why i wish i would have went with the 295/55s however i felt like with what is done to the car, that would be too much tire and cause it to bog a little

Well the 295 55 will allow me to better use the 10" wide rim plus put more meat to the ground. Def wanting to step up to 4.30s soon though. All we have local is a 1000' track (Memphis is shutdown for now) so more gear will def help me there. Even with the 26" tall rear tires. Thanks for the comment!!!

Yeah, sucks about MMP!!.....I heard Dover (sp?) still had it, and it was still for sale....All the B.S. about the rail company was just talk.....

Well there are rumors going around it will be picked up but who knows when, just saw on NHRA site they will be racing at Charlotte twice this year in place of running in Memphis so my hopes went down.

Not yet. Been crazy busy but will take some downward shots this weekend. However I can ensure you the rears dint stick out. The fronts do a bit but not to the point where they rub, just enough to toss water and dirt up on the side of the car

waketek, do you have issues putting your JEGS on?

I went to take pictures yesterday so i decided to take some with my JEGS 15" wheels on. Well the fronts went on fine with the 3/8"spacer, as for the rears....jesus christ did i have frustration. >:[

My Rear JEGS wouldnt fit because they hit the caliper so i figured fine ill put a small spacer on. Well that worked for clearing the caliper, but when i put the wheel on, it does not fit snug tight on the studs.

This is going to be a bit confusing, but you know inside the wheel where the JEGS center cap goes in, well that circle for the center cap is bigger then the stock wheels for a S197. So when i put JEGS on for the rear i have to properly balance them up in order to get the lug nuts to go on straight and not look crooked.

My problem is, if the wheel is totaly bolted up and tightened to 115 ft-lbs, when i go to race the car isnt there a chance that all the tourqe from the car can still shift the wheel. Anyhelp form anyone would be appriietated, i dont believe i should have this prob. with the wheels.

Im wondering if i need a different spacer, ones that bolt up to the wheel studs. I have the ones the just slide over the wheel studs. I think i should get ones like this,http://www.lethalperformance.com/05...wheel-spacer-and-upgraded-lug-nut-kit-p-27939 Or just chuck the JEGSs and buy Racestars lol.

Thanks in advance.

well from all i have read is that the rears you need to grind down the calipers so they can fit and they will go on without spacers.the space that you are talking about between the center hub of the rim and the rims itself can be fix by going to your local rim shop and pick up a set of hub centric rings.like this one

i wish i weighed mine before mounting the tires, cause they felt a little heavier then a older set of prostars i had back in the day, but since i dd these wheels during the summer time, i dont mine them being a little heavier since that usually means they can withstand against bends and breaks

racestars come with lugs and centric rings...haha

damn, wish i went with the racestars. I found some spacers at LRS that are Hubcentric.

Buut, i also PM'd BBR about maybe selling me a set of Centric Rings since they carry them for the Racestars.

only prob with that is the diameter for your jeg wheels may not be the same size as the race stars so you will still need to measure them just to be sure before placing order, if they are too small youll just be wasting your money

I called Mike over at RacestarIndustries. I told him my prob. and he said he doesnt want to sell me the centric rings for the racestars b/c he doesnt know if the hub on the wheel is the same size as my JEGS. He did tell me the hub on the S197s are 70.6mm and alls i need to do is find out the size of my Wheel Bore/Hub on my JEGS.

Ive called wheel shops around my area and they said they dont have the tools to measure the hub in MM. So i went on JEGS and found some centric rings for a car with a 70.6mm Hub, but i dont want to order them b/c i dont know if they will fit the Hub/Wheel Bore of the JEGS Rim. They are only 11.99 for all four so im willing to jsut order them and if they dont fit ill return them.
