did you think we made this thread for shits and giggles ? lol , why do you think so many have tried different setups .......simple because holeshots and bogarts are higher than giraffe nuts

+1 haha. I'm glad I found this thread when I did. Bought my four summit stars, spacers, lugs, and m/h dr's w/ front runners for less than the bogarts alone would have cost me

I love my Bogarts and had Rich make the fronts extra thick for the street hate those front wheels sticking out so I used AEROSPACE 4-piston calipers and vented rotors

Are the summit or jeg stars safe to run on the street? I wouldn't mind picking up another set for street use

The Summit and Jegs wheels are kind of based around the Weld wheels, and yes, you can run them on street.

haven't heard anything about those summits on our cars id be interested to see if they worked. but i know the jegs wheels you posted will not hit the rear caliper as long as your ordering the ones you posted.

I had the 541 8" wide on my car at the strip Friday night with M/T drag radials on them. NO issues at all! Fit perfect!

Billet Specialties F-Body wheel fits as long as you have the 5 on 4 3/4" bolt circle axles. It barely clears the outermost part of the caliper as you measure from the wheel mounting face to the caliper. No spacer is needed.....on my car. Although I think I'd run a flat file across the outermost part of the caliper just for grins or run a 1/8" spacer.

So when are they going to offer them with a 5x4.5 bolt circle? It would be nice to have an affordable 15x10 wheel that I could run on the street.

These things run around $350 each. What I did was redrill a stock axle and rotor. You can also order Moser or Strange axles with the 4 3/4" bolt pattern. Last time I talked to Billet Specialties they were NOT in a big hurry for an S197-specific wheel. Almost acted like they didn't give a damn about the Mustang market. I contacted them and told them the wheel will fit and all they need to do is drill them on a 4 1/2" bolt pattern. They said, "Ok, thanks."
