Yeah, I've been checking the Challenger forums quite a bit since I now have one in the garage (wife got tired of seeing the tail lights on the Shelby at the track LOL).

It looks like those guys need to do some work! The times they are posting are......well....not all that impressive. A SRT8 with a 426 motor swap and twin turbo's running 11.6 at 123mph???

Glad to see Adam has got his hands on one and is making some good times!

Saw a stock h/c/bottom end Charger run 12.59 at evadale... ALOT...
(my video, not some ukw random youtube vid)

their rear ends are garbage... killing them... need solid axels... even if you upgrade to better bushings, still only have 3.55 ... and for 5K!

btw, the motor in the first video now has heads/cam and lives here...

see what Moser rear end, 727 rvb, 4.88's will do for 'em; of course, the face lift isnt bad either ;)

Is that at Thompson in Ohio? I usually race at Quaker City but I have been having a little argument with them the last couple weeks. I decided not to spend my money there anymore. I was thinking about a trip to Thompson sometime soon. Another friend races there and likes it. He races an 8 second Vega Wagon called The Weekend Mistress.

There was a black Challenger at QCR a few weeks ago running 12.18. I didn't get a chance to look at it to see what it had but it was nice looking.

Yes, Thompson, OH (http://www.thompsonracewaypark.com). I, and a few others on this board, race there frequently. I was just at QCR this past Sunday for their regular racing. I've been there to QCR many times but still get a kick out of the uphill burnout. However, I still favor Thompson, even though it's a bit farther drive.

I raced points at QCR last year in Street Legal. Came in 4th. I think I talked to you once last year.
The uphill burnouts are pretty cool. Too bad the finish line is almost as uphill as the burnout area.
I decided once I had enough with the owners GF I was going to go to different tracks in the area. I'm going to try and hit Thompson up at least once. Are you going to go the Fords at the Summit race at Norwalk? I'm planning on being there.

Well, now that the KB 2.8H is out for this car, I am here to tell you that the S/C'd challenger will be competition for us at the track.

Adam ran a 6.72, a 6.74, and a 6.88 in this car, all stock except M&H 325's in the back, and the s/c kit with ? lbs of boost, but putting 705rwhp to the ground.

I raced him last night at Irwindale, and while I won, it was much closer then I was expecting. What was real funny is after we passed through the traps, he stopped hard enough and made the first turnout---usually cars that run in the 8's or slower make the first turnout.
