Whenever I have minor inconveniences like this, I remember something a good friend told me when I started whining one day.

"Rich people problems."

Helps keep things in perspective. :thumb:

Take the factory jack and see if it will fit the pinch weld. Then jack it up enough to get a real jack under it. Been through that many of times.

Too bad GT500's don't come with them. Real first world problems.

I need to build some of these ramps!

I jack one side at a time and I've had no issues. I have a tubular k member so I can't/don't lift it from there.

The China Freight low profile racing jack will lift even if you only have an inch or two of handle travel. It takes a couple minutes but keep working the handle as far as it will swing and it will work its way up.

And no issue for me jacking on the tubular K member, although I avoid setting the jack in the center section where the steering rack is bolted up. Too much leverage on a single tube IMO. It works great lifting at the boxed in corners under the motor mounts though.

I have two jacks. I run the China Freight "racing" jack and hit the car from the side a few inches. Then I run the tallest China Freight jack up under the K-member, pumpkin, or both to get the car off the ground.

My blue car is crazy low and has a splitter. I don't think you can have less clearance.

Doesn't help on the side of the road though......

Turn your steering wheel all the way to the right or left. Jack up from side the steering wheel is turned to. I jack from center of k-member brace. Stock one of course. I'm preeeeetttttyyyyy damn low too.
