Went to a cruise night at Raceway park nj last night.
Myself and my buddies procharged gt were lined up as cars number 1 and 2.
Both of us ran like shit him a bit worse then me. .147 rt /2.13 60' /mph 115.11/ and a lousy 13.13. Temps [90 +] were hot but trap speed was decent I was running with street tires and left em at street pressure. Car would not hook at all did not launch that hard but 1st and 2nd were like riding a snake hit the rev limiter twice as well.
So if I can get the car to hook [drag radials perhaps] and stop hitting the rev limiter I should be trapping at about 119 /120 what kind of ET is possible? Also was that a good move to get in the front of the line or should we have waited for a few other cars to make passes? Track did not seem as "prepped" as it usually is.
Before someone else says it i already know a driver mod would be good.

I ran my car with my e-force last friday at Atco and with M&H drag radials, making around 460rwhp and 470 rwtq I ran a 1.65 60', 11.640 @ 119.xx mph. So if you can hook good you'll probably be quicker than that considering you're making more power than I am.

I did 2600, 2800, 3000 and 3200. I actually bogged on my 3200 launch because I dumped the clutch too quick. I'm going to try setting my 2-step at 4000 this friday to see if I can launch at that. I really want a 1.5x 60'.

Thanks ,if I am going to race this thing I have to get some drag radials. Perhaps over the winter.

bullitt.....with 522 rwhp your car(beautiful car!) with some stickies and banging those gears might see high tens at like 128 on a cool day/night. That is almost 20 more horse power than my 07 GT was making. But it was a automatic though. Maybe I will seeya at Etown once this weather cools down in say like late September. Gotta get some miles on my 11 5.0 still.

Yeah high tens would be great, then E-town could throw me out for no cage and I can stop spending money on mods, lol.
I will be very happy breaking into the 11s need some cool weather and sticky tires. I may try and borrow a set next time out.
I will be looking for you at the track I live about a mile from it so usually go on wednesday and friday for test and tune That 11 of yours is the best color they made this year IMHO.

I ran Fri night and the track seemed to be prepped quite good. I do believe though on a much cooler day and with drag radials, your car is def capable of low 11s

They never prep the track for cruise night. Did not see them spray VHT once all night. Just like a conga line. Over 200 cars last night and not one oil down hmmm.
A free pass is a free pass though. that is why we jumped out first I thought the track would still be a bit sticky from the weekend.
I have been looking at the fats and skinnies that Brenspeed offer looks like a good set up. I had the M/T bias plys et streets but sold em.

I have no doubt in my mind they dont prep the track during cruise nights. When they began the cruise nights a few years back, my buddies who had a pair of twin turbo 350z were running like 13s and trapping in the 120s or something ridiculous. Maybe head on down to the track on a Friday night, good track prep and you will get an honest 5 runs in

Any time I ran at e town...with MTDrag Radials. I alway went in the "slick" lanes. They keep you in the groove better at the line compared to the street lanes. Ifya notice, there are cones that move the street cars over at the line. Much better traction in the "slick" lanes.

I would love to race but am a bit hesitant with the street tires ,I was spinning right into 3rd. last week.
Maybe I can just launch slow and get it rolling before I get on it.
