Daytime Running Light ideas

Hey guys,
Looking for DRL ideas on the S197 body style. Show a picture if you've installed some. I have an '06 GT. I wired my fog lights with a resistor & relay to accomplish the task but willing to consider something cooler.
I am a big believer in them especially with the color of my car.

I also have DRL but it's free and shines at least 320 days/year where I live.

Actually, my boys' car and like yours cops can see it from a mile away (maybe even farther).

They look nice. Where did you get them? Do they impede the fog-light beam?

American Muscle or CJ Pony. I really can’t remember, it’s been at least 5 years. No they do not interfere with fogs at all.

Fog lights and bottom lights both turn on soon as the vehicle is in drive. Turned on using forscan

I wired mines, using a relay and on/off button inside the cabin. Purchased a harness that included the relay and switch for around $15.00.
I got a warning ticket in Maryland. Sign said headlights were required. I explained that my fogs were on to act as DLRs. Officer said my rear running lights were not on. Lesson learned.

I had the same lights. Purchased the LED strips on eBay and wired them using a relay and button in the cabin.

Ebay. Had them a while and no issues. They are on all the time

Hi!
Can you please explain what coding did you change with forscan to make fog lights work as DRL?
I didn't find any parameters for DRL in SJB module. So I suppose I have to change coding of the SJB AS BUILT data manually. Am I right?

DRL: I have not seen many with DRL, if only the Canada style low glow of the headlamps.

I have changed line 726-03-01 to 0240 73, which is Canadian DRL code and it worked: fog lights in the grill is now DRL. But it caused the B2477: Module Configuration Failure and interior light started blinking. It seems like I need to change something else too. Please advise.

My car is 2010 Mustang GT for the US market with HID, light sensor and Auto-light option.
