I have a bbr tune.. I am not taking sides just posting my experience. I have an email tune from bbr. When I got the car it supposedly had a dyno tune. The car put down 335hp and 330tq. It ran like shit, and was horrible to drive. My first tune from bbr worked so much better than the supposed dyno tune the car had(Strickly Performance). But my car was throwing codes left and right. After about 6 updated tunes from Chris the car seems to be the best it has ever. I have NEVER seen 31MPG until I installed this tune. It also seems to be the quickest it has ever been. I have only ever talked to Chris and updates came fast. I know 5 or 6 updates seems a lot but I only drive 4 miles a day. And now it seems to be dialed in. I'm going to put it on the dyno to see what it puts down.
I only drove the car for about 30 miles in total. It went down from there after I got in it a bit. But while cruising I have never seen it sit at 31mpg let alone ever seeing that number come up on my gauge.31 MPG!!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up! I know not to trust that gauge it's always wrong but either way I have never seen that number ever. My car would tell me I had 10 miles to empty yet I still had 3 gallons left when I filled it back up. I will update this once I get a good reading. But my daily commute is only 4 miles.Keep in mind that you shouldn't go by that reading, you can make that say whatever you want once you tune it. I would verify it the old fashioned way. Depending on how someone sets up the tune, it can be off by a lot.
I must say after reading this board for a while I feel fortunate to have a great tuner living near by. His name is Tony Gunyon and his company is Tuners Inc in OP Florida. The dude is one of the best and flies all over the world to tune cars, in fact he is in San Diego this week. Since all engines are diffrent and with all the diffrent bolt ons...ETC I can't imagine using tune sent via mail. maybe Im just lucky

so bbr has nothing to say about this? how about they just man up and admit they couldn't give him what he wanted and just issue a refund already. if they have people from all over getting tunes a couple hundred bucks is nothing to keep a customer happy.
