Did the helmet specs change this year?

After going through the usual roll-bar grief from Inspector Detector at SRP tech inspection, he pointed out that my helmet was no longer acceptable as of 1/1/8. He let me slide for the night but said I needed to replace it.

What's the label on your helmet? It must be older than Snell K98.

As per the 2008 NHRA rules:

The old one was a Snell 95 (AGV motorcycle helmet), looks like he was off by a year. Earlier this afternoon I picked up a Snell 05, looks like I'm good-to-go for a while.

Also if you go faster than 10.00 I think you have to have a full face helmet as of 1-1-08.
