Keep the car you have and get a 5.0 then try and sell your car instead of trading it in. Just my thought.

I got bored of my car last summer and actually thought about trading it in for a new 5.0 or a z06. I bought a bike, forgot about the car for a while and actually regained interest in it this fall. I am so happy that I didn't sell it. I have a lot of blood sweat and tears in this car. I now know that I made the right choice because I would probably always regret letting this car go.

If you're going to have to take on more debt getting the 5.0 then definitely stick with what you got now.

For the 10 g's you could put the new 5.0 in your car, the cool factor would be there. but for the 10 g's you get a new car with the 5.0 in it, so it is kinda even. Except for the rear, i like the 12's better than my 09. So I think save the 10g's, and or pickup a used GT500. wait for the 2015

It seems to me with these cars we are never happy with keeping it stock, so if you bought a new car you would start over with rims, suspension, shifter ETC...So the price of poker on the new car is going to go way up on top of a monthly payment. Sink the money into what you have and realize that you have a one of a kind paid off mustang.

I'd just drop a supercharger on your current car to be competitive, and see what happens with the redesign in 14. I'd hate to invest in a new ride and 2 years later it's the old body style. This happened to me.

It would be nice if ford made some kind of conversion ecu harness to run the 5.0 coyote in the older 05-09 car with full gauges and 05-09 ecu.

Ok

AT PRESENT, I'm within $7k from owning an either brand new '12 Race Red, Ingot Silver, or Performance White(actually any color I want) 5.0 with Automatic trans AND I get to strip my car down. LOL!!!!!.

Should I?
