Ok

AT PRESENT, I'm within $7k from owning an either brand new '12 Race Red, Ingot Silver, or Performance White(actually any color I want) 5.0 with Automatic trans AND I get to strip my car down. LOL!!!!!.

Just to make you feel worse.
You put your heart into that car, and countless hours cleaning and keeping it fresh and not even driving it at times, and you basically saved it for some other guy the whole time you owned it?
Now the biggest reason you want to change up and willing to give the whole car up is simply more power? :dunce:

About the GT500, I pretty much did abandon the idea. They want $35k-$39k for low mileage '07-09 Snakes, so I would be financing the balance of a car already 4-6 years old for 60 months. Didn't seem feasible to me.

Good point, BUT they are giving me a good deal on trade for my car stripped back to stock!!!!!

I could put all my exterior mods, ie..wheels, springs on the '12 and sell all my motor mods, lights, valve covers.

Hey now....I LOVE those kinda guys. Got my 06 GT vert virgin powertrain with only 16k one owner miles! Now I'm one of em. Drove mine a whopping 5k miles last year lol.

Darren is looking at a really nice 5.0. Im trying to help him stay calm, lol he is in such a hurry. Which i completely understand. The guy we/he are working with is a really good guy and all about getting the best deal. Just be patient.

I don't see many white GTs even when out at the track so I don't think it'll be hard to get rid of it later down the road. It's hard to beat the look of a clean white car with the right exterior mods.

White is awesome looking. Pretty sure that my next one will be either that or silver - I drive my car too much to constantly give attention to black

I went through this same debate for several months but it was difficult to justify when mine is perfectly fine in everyway except for the power aspect plus like your's I have title in hand. Needless to say I have a blower waiting to go on and bought a nitrous kit the other day to play with in the mean time...hopefully the only "quirk" with my car will be solved.

If you must do it...PW FTW.
