I'm sure it's been said.. but
Everything new gets old. You buy a new 5.0 you're gonna be in the same boat in a few years. If you keep what you got, you have the car that will be the one everyone wants because it was the original retro. Plus you're car is super clean..
I went through this awhile back.. 5.0 or keep.. I decided to keep my car. for reasons below.
it's paid for
sure the 5.0 has more power but I'm ordering a s/c in the next few weeks that will put me in the range of smoking a new 5.0.
I can still do this and cost me less money than buying a 5.0 and s/c it. plus be faster
My car still looks new (not as showroom as yours) but no flaws.
I won't argue with others, but this body style is hands down better, wait a few years and see what people are looking for.
The 5.0 has problems. I haven't been convinced the transmission, the #8, and other multiple issues I'ver read about are worked out.. how bad would that suck to buy a new car, s/c it, blow # 8 , warranty void and be shit out of luck
this is why I chose to keet my car. You know what you want more and you'll chose accordingly. just my .02 worth. good luck on your decision.
