So, as i gather, running the bar in the OEM design is the superior design for maximum performance.
It just so happens that relocating the bar to the axle with the different attachment points opens up some additional fitment options and makes adjustability of slightly easier access, and the additional unsprung weight, although not ideal, is minimal and thusly worth taking the minor hit for the easy of use.
