I'm resurrecting this thread, because I wanna see proof (either way). I did the search and saw a lot of negatives but no one's produced tangible evidence that it's just a shiney aluminum paper-weight or otherwise. (mind you I don't have one and it's not anywhere on my mod list) but I'm curious to see real-life proof that they DO or DO NOT work.

Before I got a throttle body spacer I ran 13.5's, after I got one installed I ran 12.8's.
only other mods were c&l intake+race tune, cmcv deletes, wotbox, steeda UDP's, CHE LCA's, sway bar delete, hi flow catted x, and MT/ET radials.

sick gain!

They only work if you stack at least two of them together (the more the better the airflow). One spacer usually isn't enough to create the small air "vortex" that forces the air in and mixes the fuel better.

No, man. If you stack 2 of them together you waste too much shit. Just put what you want to burn on the foil, hit it and wait. No point in double stacking the shit to try to look cool.

omg,you guys are crackin me up!

Impossible, you don't want to go over 500whp on the stock block, the air vortex's surpase that. :asshat:

Got one of those, big hunky metal thingy, was a bitch to install, piping, belts and electrical connections and shiite, but the gains are there, trust me on this. . . .

Tried out a T/B spacer on the dyno. No gains, zero. But it did help out with throttle lag on an '05 auto. Only mods on it was a Bamachips tune and JLT intake. Took if off/put it back on several times since I had a hard time believing it made any difference. I was a skeptic. But on that 2005 auto, it did reduce throttle lag enough to notice a difference.
