Here's what happened when sparky went for a ride in the 2011!

FYI...no animals were hurt in the making of this image.

google "dog seat covers"

They clip on to the headrests. I used to use them with my Lexus GS 430.

My mustang, however, still smells brand new so the dog (as well as food) aren't allowed inside.

I drive with my dog. He is 3 so I don't really worry about pissing on the seats. I drove from San Diego to Virginia and back with him. No problems at all. I actually just bought him a doggie seatbelt.

I removed my rear seat and put in a seat delete so mine would have a place to ride. Put a couple of strips of 1x1 across the bottom of each "seat" portion for reinforcement. Left the seat belts in so I have something to clip his riding harness to.
Hell, I can't keep him out of the car. I open the door to the garage and he trots his happy ass out there, goes right to the passengers door and nudges it with his nose then looks back at me wanting to know why it's not open yet.

wow dog seat covers are kinda pricey haha but the rear seat delete doesnt sound so bad since i was planning on doing that anyway, originally not for the dog but just to ditch the rear seats since theyre somewhat useless most of the time haha

I have two wiener dogs, those fuckers have all the room in the world, but still want more than half their body out the window.. lol. they don't smell at all thank God, and with my (late :/ ) pitbull we always used a truck to get him places.

My 20 lb Chow mix rides with me.

Hell, back when they lifted the speed limit in Montana, she went 182 MPH in my ZR1. I didn't want to do it but she kept calling me a pussy.

i just went to the vet in my stang. Had a 70lb boxer in one back seat, a 45lb boxer in the other back seat, and a laundry basket with (5) 10lb boxer pups in the front. Obviously I had towels under all of them just in case, plus I hate loose hair in my car

My boxer comes in for a ride in the mustang occasionally. She is very good and just sits on the seat and enjoys the ride. The german shepard on the other hand is only allowed if he is deathly ill! He does not behave at all in the car and I don't need him breaking anything
