well synyster i bought some loctite adhesive spray this weekend. If it doesnt work i will head up to that shop. I already tried the contact cement and it held up for a good 6 months. Now its jacking up again.
The previous owner tried contact cement on mine so that was all over the back of mine. I tried everything to get that shit off but nothing worked. Idk how the shop did it but they did well.
Even though the Loctite spray worked on mine I think the most reliable fix is doing it like the factory. That is pull back the fabric, scrape off all the old foam. Go to Hobby Lobby or a fabric shop and buy some thin foam, glue that to the door panel, then glue the fabric to the foam. I just think the fabric has a hard time sticking to the felt or whatever the actual base material is on the panel. Plus a new foam backing keeps you from seeing any slight imperfections caused by too much adhesive in certain spots. If mine ever comes apart again I'm going to try it that way.
tear it all off and use textured / wrinkle plastidip lol
I really don't understand why so many people are having problems doing this repair! Peel it, clean it, apply one coat of brush on contact cement to both the panel and fabric, let dry, reapply and let the second coat dry. Then roll the fabric back up and work out air bubbles. I've done both of mine and they have survived the Texas heat no problem.

Lee
Panels are falling again for the second time... I'm done with these things! It makes me feel like I drive some beater piece of shit car! I would rather just rip them off than let them hang again!
A buddy of mine has a Stage 3 Roush and his door panels are black plastic pieces! Where can I get panels like those!?
