The Feast and The Famine
wow, i couldnt believe how slow it felt. now i know it comes off as douchey and i dont mean to disrespect my fellow mustang brothers, but damn.
i think its meant as more of a "man has technology come a long ways in mustangs". and im sure it was this was then the 3v came out and the 2v was knocked down a peg.
it was still fun as hell, and did make me recall the memories of my 3v, which i loved dearly.
it just really struck me, i dunno i guess i didnt expect that much of a difference, the 3v isnt a slow car by any means. but after nearly 6 months in a 5.0 every day the two cars couldnt be any different. the 5.0 feels more then 302ci and pulls so nice and smoothly with a broad torque curve. where i noticed in the 3v that it was only 281ci and needed to be reved out to make the power.
like i said, i DO NOT mean to sound like a dick it was just kind of eye opening to me. thats probably what GT500 guys say when they get into 5.0s or boosted 3vs say when they drive a stock 5.0.
