DS stick vs. auto

Are they the same stock? Can they be interchanged?

I'm not 100% sure, but am fairly certain that the balancing is different between the two driveshafts

Why would they be balanced "different"? The driveshaft is either balanced or not balanced. Im 99% sure they are the same, aftermarket ones arent manual/auto specific.

I bought a used one off my buddy's 07 manual that was perfect in his car. I put it in my car and had the pinion angle adjusted, and still there was this retarded vibration

Yeah it could have been alot of other issues, just one part number from ford.
