There isn't much to gain N/A e85. That's just my opinion.

^^^ This
you might save a little on the cost of the fuel, but the poor mileage you will get running e85 will eat up any if not all of the savings. I personally wouldn't bother switching fuels while being N/A.

There isn't any appreciable gains with E85 on a stock compression 3v. If you have a 11:1 or better compression built motor and you will see better gains. stock 24lb injectors are right on the edge depending on how many bolt on's and power you are making. Stock fuel pump is fine.

E85 is 1.89 here! 87 is 2.39.

But what's premium go for?

I had different results. I remember you saying in another thread in the past that the stock pump was adequate but it wasn't for me because I was on stock injectors. Reason being is that the stock injectors don't flow enough so they are synthetically bigger by upping the fuel pressure in the tune. Any time you up the fuel pressure max flow of the pump drops. With my minimal mods I was seeing 49% when datlogging the pump which is 98% duty cycle. With a set of 39lbers I would be able to go back to stock-ish fuel pressures and probably not max out the fuel pump.

First of all what mods do you have? I'm going to go against the grain here and say to run it. For me it was no extra cost as at my HP level I didn't have to upgrade anything to run it. Just a tune was all I needed but I was just about out of pump. If I put in larger injectors it would have lowered my fuel pump duty cycle. Generally speaking E85 is cheaper than premium fuel so sometimes the cost per mile will be the same as gasoline making the less MPG a moot point. Oh yeah if 10HP isn't an "appreciable gain" while NA then why do people add parts that do that exact same thing? 10HP on top of a 93 octane tune was a no-brainer for me. Meanwhile a set of longtubes costs how much and give what 15-20 maybe. Of that 20HP how much was from ditching the CATS too?

I don't have to worry about any of this anymore because the ONLY E85 station close to me closed down and the nearest one now is about 150 miles or so away.

Right now no mods i snagged a pair of bbk shortys for $60 i deleted the mufflers il be deleting the cats soon but i was just worried the fuel would gunk up my lines

The fuel cost isnt a problem and of course i know it wont yield me much.....just like a throttle body wouldnt do much to a n/a setup

How many miles on your car? Reason being is yes E85 will clean your your fuel system. You'll want to change your fuel filter after a full tank of E85. Your lines will NOT gunk up, it's actually the opposite.

Also I don't recommend no cats with no mufflers, it will way too loud and raspy. I personally have an ORH with he factory mufflers and it sounds pretty good.

You will be ok with stock injectors. On the edge, but ok. You will gain about 10/10 and have a cooler running engine.

I think that one of the best injector upgrades are either stock 5.0 34lb or 39 Cobras. If you look around the 5.0 take outs can be had for $50. Of course the tune will need to be changed. I was able to make the numbers in my sig with 5.0 take out injectors and a GT500 pump. I don't see why the 5.0 guys swap them when they go e85 but they are convinced they need to.

Like already mentioned you will want a fuel filter swap or two. Ethanol is going to clean out the gasoline varnishes that might have built up. If you have been running E10 it should be pretty clean already, ethanol free gas is the one that builds up.

Then go with what your tuner wants. The price difference isn't too much. Careful shopping will turn up 39lb injectors for $100-$150. They are a very good injector that behave. IIRC they were also factory matched to 1%.

Someone that toots cok?

Someone fucking with their board.
It's supposed to read "Coke 2 Liter"

I actually called the store about 30 minutes ago.
I spoke to the manager Teresa and asked her "how long will y'all be running the cok 2ter special?"
LOL, then I informed her that someone had been messing with their board.
