We can send the whole car over! lol.

After engine is done I am quite sure is going to be one of the sickest 2000 GT ever.

Is all custom welded/reinforced twin turbo, T56, IRS with KB stuff, brembo 6 and a lot more

And now in the car:

It's interesting that the middle runners are longer than the front and rear ones.

My guess is that it has something to do with the fact that the outer runners face the rounded corners of the covers. But is just a wild guess as maybe only a CFD engineer would tell.

Sweet project!!

Now get back to work on the swap!!

Swap should be back on this week, both cars should be ready before the end of the year. Will update both threads.

We were waiting for a spot on the friends shop for months, he would redo the headers for these new heads. He called by the end of last week to bring it tomorrow am and my wife had planned a knee surgery for last friday so I could not come to help, my partner had to bring a mechanic friend to help him out, I did not put a single bolt in the car until today. The planned engine bay paint had to be aborted. So engine bay wont look as we wanted for some time.

Thankfully the coolant mods look to work and we had all the proper parts for the swap here, termi hood wont work, this thing is TALL.

Some pics from today, tomorrow am it leaves for the friends shop to redo headers, mod the engine mounts, coolant reservoir needs to be cut to clear the intake pipe and one pipe that comes from the IC that has to be clocked differently.

Today's pics:

This thing is massive!

Cobra R hood is the one. (we really wanted the termi one but it just wont work, the vents kill it)

On the dyno today for break-in, first WOT run 697/720 with 13psi 12* and .7xx lambda only to 6000. New numbers coming later after an hour of cool down, pictures later on.

3rd run 740/764 after some adjustments, enough for now. Next year with proper fuel mods and a can of race fuel we hope for the 1xxx on 20psi.

Here is the final pic of the engine, now, with time, will get into cosmetic work to try to make that engine bay a little more nicer, shame we had no time to do this before.

Last run dyno page:

We did three break-in dyno runs with cooling time between, now car needs to be driven for more break in. Next year will do some fuel system improvements so we can raise the boost and see if we can get into the 1000s, a can of MS109 has been reserved just for that.
