For that $800 iirc, those fenders should be a universal conversion kit. Not just for that fugly ass body kit they make. Sorry you are having such a pita with this.

This. I hope that company steps up and does something for you because that's way to much money for an unfinished product.

2 different stores. How can they be universal for a oem application and a wb/body kit applicaiton? Perhaps he should have more info so people can make better decisions if the fenders will work for them or not.

They are not advertised as universal...they are advertised as "conversion" fenders, I shouldnt have to modify shit to get a 2010+ bumper to fit the car....I plan to call him and ask WTF.....

My email to him: ( i attached pictures of the stock 2010 fender bracket location and the bracket)
"Got the fenders. Not real happy with them. quality looks decent, but there is no way these should be advertised as “conversion” fenders. There is no lower section to the fender in the front that a normal 2010+ fender should have to attach the bumper brackets like a 2010 bumper needs. These are more like pre 2010 fenders in the front where the bumper bolts directly the fender with 2-3 bolts.

“These will work with any 2010 and up front bumper and 2010 and up hood combination. Price includes shipping inside”

The 2010+ use a bracket that has to bolt to the fender because the 2010 bumpers do not have bolt holes, the 2010 bumper just clips in with no bolts so I don’t know how these would ever work as a “conversion” fender. I have fiberglassed extensions onto the front bottom, so now it can hold the bracket, And now my bumper snaps into the fender as it should.

Now I’m finding that the shape of the front section does not match the bumper and light so I will have to modify that section as well. These fenders may work for your front bumper that you sell, but by no means should these be sold as “conversion” fenders.

See the attached pictures and video, the bracket bolts to the fender, the bumper snaps into the bracket.

I have not even got to the shape problem yet. I had to order actual 2010 metal fenders that cost me about $320 so I can get it all lined up like factory because I can’t trust the “conversion” fenders, then once I have it all set I will have to modify the “conversion” fenders so it looks factory. I will take pictures with the stock fenders and retake pictures with the “conversion” fenders to show you the different shapes.

I feel I can modify these and get them to work, was just not expecting to need the modifications for the price I paid and the description given. "

His response:
"Sorry to hear you are having problems fitting these. These are made to fit the 2005 -2009 vehicles. I hade a guy drill through the plastic side mount to mount the front fenders at the bumper. Things do need to be shimmed to make everything fit.
If I can be of assistancd let me know."

so thats all the help hes offereing......id stay away from this guy and his "conversion" fender,lol....i was atleast hoping he would offer to cover the cost of the fenders i had to order....

Im very much considering making a metal version with the fenders i ordered and my old stock fenders and then having a mold made.

I have no idea why it's so hard for a company to get this right. If they can make the fiberglass vented fenders and have them fit good; then why can't some company see some demand in this and make a real "conversion fender". I was getting excited to see the outcome on this and I find myself disappoint. But no fault the OP, but fault the shitty producer of this "conversion fender". Clearly he is falsely advertising his product.

looks ike i wont be getting much of anything for help from the manufacturer....

my reply to his email above:

My car is a 2007 so why should I need to modify anything to make these work…..you falsely advertise these as conversion fenders and make the claim that 2010+ bumpers will work with these fenders but there is nowhere to attach the bumper using your fenders.

and his reply:
I am getting some stuff from ford to check things but this will work there are mods that need to be made like any custom car job. That mount you are talking about is not necessary when mounting this on a 2005 to 09 vehicle with original core. If you used the 2010 core support you will have issues. There are black plastic pieces that the front bumper clips to. Weve drilled holes through the top of that allowing us to mount the bumper to it. Once everything is all bolted down we had no issues.

so pretty much what he is saying is that its custom and i should expect to have non-fitting parts....even thou the only custom part is his fucking fenders.....im wondering what pay pal would do if i filed a complaint....

i worked on it for a few hours last night and not all is lost. I should have it in the ball park this weekend. Hopefully my 2010 fenders show up today so i can get those on first and get everything lined up like factory.

ive already got that handled. i made a mold of the back side of the bracket from fiberglass and attached it to the fender (basically what would have been on the fender from the factory to hold the bracket in place). so now the 2013 bumper attaches the way it should using the factory bracket and clips.

my issue at the moment is the headlights lining up with the bumper/hood/fenders.

if i remove the fenders, everything lines up great. soon as i try to put the fenders back on it throws things out of whack. i think there are some angles on the fenders causing that bumper bracket to misalign the bumper. once i get the 2010 fenders and get it all aligned, ill tighten it all down, remove the 2010 fenders and then modify the conversion fenders to fit the way they should.

So you used the 2013 core support?

Will with all of the stuff you've built and custom made for your car I'm sure you'll give this guy a run for his money. I'm sure your figure this out and make some molds for a true conversion fender.

I'm just surprised that someone would even bother sell a fender without the stock mounting points. Save a lot of headache. If someone on here sold a proper set, sign me up.
