Congrats on the find, I've got a CD silver 2002 SVT in the stable and love it. It needs some paintwork as the paint didn't hold up behind either front wheelwell and the timing belt broke before 80,000 miles. I got lucky somehow and didn't damage the shortblock but bent 4 intake and 6 exhaust valves. Replaced the valves, ground them by hand and it ran good as new until the stock cat material came apart. Replaced it with a CFM "race" cat pipe and got a tune from Tom at Focus Power and it is fun again.
I have never driven a front wheel drive car that is even in the same ballpark for driving fun. I envy the power from your JRSC, too bad no one makes a similar kit for these cars anymore.

My old one was tuned by Mike at Unique Tuning in S.C. and it was the best N/A tune I ever drove. I've seen other tunes that made more peak power but I never drove one that had such a fantastic power band. I also had an of road pipe and modded stock throttle body, that car was fantastic to drive. No issues with paint quality on mine either, held up great even at 160k and twelve Minnesota winters.

Other than the blower the new one was virtually bone stock when I got it, about the only performance mod I've done is swapping over my FRPP short throw shifter. I am currently working on a modded throttle body using a spare I've got.

The added power is really fun, rarely wring it out but you rarely need to. The thing just goes, funny because there's much less noise and drama when pushing this one hard but it is much faster.
