Its a bit of a custom sizing I did, but in short it's a billet 70mm tcbb oil-less, ported cover yadda yadda lol. I'm only going to push 700-750 on pump 93 turbo is obviously capable of more.

Anyways here are some pics from tonight.

Freeze plug removed on driverside under and foward of the header and fitting and water feed line to the turbo routed.

Removed stock water/oil adaptor and got the new one ready with stock sensor and my autometer sender installed.

New ceramic coated shorties installed

Got the ati superdamper put together, locktite, anti-seize and rtv sealant were on the menu for that as well as the torque wrench and the new arp crank bolt

Awesome stuff..

What is the reason for the ATI super damper, to keep vibrations down within the crank?

Figured it was a good investment for 20+ lbs of boost reving to 7k rpms on the stock crank lol. Plus pulled the udp's off so the small stock water pump pulley is back on to get a little flow back now with the water cooled turbo.

Based on these pictures it would appear you have ditched your old modified ON3 setup, and are switching to what looks like Zimmers hot side kit. In anycase it all looks nice and am looking forward to seeing the results.

True statement; part of that is because we had to "massage" two pieces of piping when we installed the UPR K member and the Zimmers piping was built with an aftermarket K member in mind...plus the Zimmers is ceramic coated and uses less pieces than the On3 piping.

Definately a cleaner setup. I actually sent them a couple of messages about building a hotside setup for me out of stainless. They didn't seem interested in working with stainless and I wasn't interested in using mild steel, coated or not so there ended my thoughts of going turbo.

Be sure to check those BBK shorties from time to time...Paul(againstallodds1) had them on his turbo set-up and the rear flanges where they connect crushed/misformed due to the heat.

Yeah I had to do something as the piping I had didnt clear the upr k member and to save time over trying to have some custom piping made while I was away for 6 months I contacted Zimmers and had them modify some stuff on their hotside for me and I'm going to do some testing and push this setup for them. We may be working together on a kit here in the near future. ;)

I didnt have an issue going from stainless to mild as they do a good job of supoprting the weight and adding mounting tabs which will relieve alot of stress on the piping.

Will keep an eye on them, thanks for the heads up. :highfive:

Got another long day of wrenching ahead! ;)

My issue had nothing to do with stress, simply that in my experience Jet Hot or any other ceramic coated mild steel doesn't hold up as well as stainless in high heat areas. In any case good luck with your build it should make some nice numbers.

I need a better hot side, it's too low to ground and scrapes, and the damn WG part is impossible to connect! Lmao. Zimmers sell just a hot side?

Jeremy this build is gonna be ridiculous!

Yes they sell just the hotside. We may be offering it as an option in a different kit we are working on releasing for the 3v. Will be an oil-less kit standard.

Jeremy I don't exactly understand the dampener or the freeze plug. More pics of the freeze plug and the routing of the cooling for the turbo.

I may have to stop and check it out on the way back from e-city whenever that may be.
