I ran Koni yellow on mine, front and rear. But mostly kept them on the softest setting for street use, which is about the same as the Koni orange (non adjustable). A nice aftermarket option that matches well with the Bullitt spring setup. 51979232-IMG_1783.jpg

I went with the Koni STR-T orange. Also got the GT500 front LCAs, GT500 upper strut mounts, GT500 rear LCAs, FRPP aluminum drive line, and the 2014 GT500 diff cover. SO glad I did all I did when I did. Prices have really gone up...

Is your Bullitt lowered? These look like their matched to the stiffer rates on lowering springs

I can tell you that the whole system, with the frpp springs, was painful. In addition to that, the car would go from understeer to snap oversteer before you knew what was happening. Other than that, they were terrible. But that's just me. As they say YMMV.

I switched to coil overs and adjustable dampers. I'll never go back.
That being said, that is a good deal on those. I'm not sure what you would use for a spring to give you a decent ride. As already stated, those dampers are for use with lowering springs.

+1 my 06 car had the Steeda/FRPP setup and it was very stiff.

My 07 currently has Eibach springs and Koni Oranges (STR Ts) and its perfect balance of comfort and better control.

I have the full FRPP package, struts, lowered springs, sway bars, etc that came stock in my ‘08 Shelby & in the Shelby ‘07-08 builds..it’s very good, was designed for track & street & the car feels very planted, but I’m in CA. where roads tend to bd less bumpy.

It’s on the firmer & harder side of what I might choose if shopping, but i get zero body roll, precise turn in, & it’s progressive breaking free at the limit..on my stock 235’s at least.

But, according to racers @ Track Mustangs forum this FRPP is a Tokico shocks & Eibach springs package & is/was considered in various TM racing threads to be inferior to Koni Yellows, but is that an ‘online consensus fact just based on posts’.. I don’t know & I’ve no opinion on their comparison to FRPP.

I have a Ford Racing strut/shock setup with springs designed for the GT500. I had it on my car for about 3-4 weeks and removed it. Very stiff, but if you want a Ford Racing setup you can have it for shipping costs. Been taking up shelf space for 10 years. Google M-18000-C. IMG_2848.JPG

You cannot go wrong with a good set of quality struts and shocks (i.e., Bilstein, Tokicos, Ford Racing, Yellow Koni, etc.) Don't forget to upgrade with GT500 upper strut mounts, bump stops and some camber bolts (depends on alignment specs).

Personally, I currently have those same Ford Racing Struts (listed above) with GT500 track-pack rear Bilstein's & Ford Racing "P" springs (1" drop) on my 05" GT, car handles like it's on rails but stiff... I also have F/R big sway bars and all sorts of braces.

FYI I had F/R Tokiko's on my old 06' GT Convertible with adjustable on the rear with GT500 springs. Loved the way they rode and handled very well.

That's the best you can do, unfortunately. I had mine for sale for I think three years. I kept lowering the price until I finally gave it away at a tag sale. Seems everyone wants the shiny stuff. I do wish I had that kind of money in my younger days. Hell, I don't have that kind of money now.

Do you have the part number on the springs?

I did before asking and again after your reply....just to be sure. The number keeps coming up as shocks and struts only that can be used with P, K, or L springs. I think L might be the GT500 springs.

I think they are 1" lowering springs, not 100% positive. They were lower than my stock Bullitt springs (which I liked). Bullitt springs are about 3/4" drop from stock GT.

I'll have to find that spring rate chart when I get home. I have it saved on my pc, but don't recall where I found it on thr forum

I've got P springs. About .75"-1" drop. But on Koni Orange.

If the OP does not take you up on your offer, keep me in mind.

Out of consideration for a new member, let's give him until the end of the weekend.
Otherwise, shipping would be to 63110 business.
UPS thru Pirateship is great!

I put the Koni orange struts & shocks with the GT500 mount 5yr ago. Vast improvement over the stock shocks.
