Have been running them for 3 years now, havent had any issues. And 2 of those years my car has been supercharged. Its all in the tune so make you get a good tuner to tune your car.

Daaaaammmmmmmnnnnnn!!!! Is that what shops charge?? Wow, I knew there was a reason I always DIY'ed my mechanic work.

+1

These cars are too easy to put NSR cams in to pay someone else to do it. To the OP. I have 90k+ miles on my car and it's cammed. I wouldn't be too worried about reliability, just make sure the install is done correctly.

Paging Ultraclassic...

Get em! Also, as others have commented, if you have basic mechanical abilities, a handy tool set, and a garden hose, this install is easily a DIY'er and save the $600 bucks for other mods!

Let the forum know if you decide to do it yourself. TONS of help here!!!

EDIT: Be forewarned, your life as a 3V Mustang owner will never be the same after the Hotrod install. People will gawk and stare at you at every outing because of the muscle car lope. Your daily driving tasks are changed forever!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!

As a former HR owner and one that has installed numerous sets of NSR cams I agree with the comments about the cams; they sound great, are easy to install if you have a little mechanical ability and could not see paying $600 for someone to install them. There are good threads on here that will walk you through step by step on how to install them.

Lest you forget the importance of the dreaded "garden hose"! :popcorneat::whistling:
