Mine have slight wear as well but look "cleaner", guessing from assembly, They must be using the ball end allen that gets fucking stuck in there once the bolt is torqued down, they take ssome force to pull it out.
have you revved urs and watched the intake?

Just as lito said, I would bet the top of the manifold is being sucked down under vac causing the runners to bulge. Since lightblade is under boost his won't 'squat'. So it's just us na guys that gotta worry. Shit I can't test mine until sept.
Yikes! I installed mine on Friday. Just checked....mine's alive too. I'll be calling FRPP's tech line first thing Monday.
the shitty thing is that if my next FRPP intake does this i can't switch back to the stock one because you have to cut your stock fuel line in between the fuel rails so you have to go out and get another rubber line cut and make it work with the stock or even the C&L which uses your stock line
let us know what they say about this!
Will do. The scary thing is that the part that flexes is the part that the fuel rail is bolted on to. I thought I noticed the rails flexing yesterday while I was rechecking for fuel leaks, then thought it might be the engine torquing over, but I've got Prothane mounts and torque limiters my engine doesn't move at all. I wonder how many times the injectors can flex on the rail like that before an o ring gives out.
