I posted here because I don't think this is a tech question.

I'm considering a FRPP TB. I have mild bolt-ons; CAI, UDP, CMDP and shorty headers. Is this worth the money in your opinion? No tune required for this upgrade, right?

No it's not worth the money in your application and it needs to be tuned for. Only thing I would recommend it for is a twin screw app or show car.

Not worth it IMO, the minimal gains if any that you will see is not worth the 500-550 your going to spend on it. Now if you go FI, then there's beneficial gains to be had.

Its up to if its worth it, it is a supporting mod for bigger and better things. On your setup as it is you will see maybe 2-3rwhp tops.

This is what I thought so I have better things to do with the $500+.

It's nice to have a forum where you can get a real no bullshit answer. :thumb:

I couldn't tell a difference in the tune when I put mine on. My tuner tweaked something (I drove 50 miles to his place without an adjustment) but you would never know.

Picked up hp and tq but I was Whippled at the time. I'm just wrapping up a motor swap and will test the frpp vs stock on the dyno when I'm doing the final tune.

It sure is pretty.

Hey Rich. I'd think you'd be better off waiting until you get an intake manifold at minimum better going with the throttle body.

That money would be well spent on a set of 4.10's right now!

You will love the feeling of these!
